Quad-lab > The Laboratory > History
Created in 1993 by an ex engineer from the “Société nationale des poudres et explosifs” (Safran group), Quad-Lab focussed its know-how on chromatography and mass spectrometry.
Originally focussed on the pharmaceutical industry, today Quad-Lab is targeting wider sectors such as the environment.
In 2004, the Quad-Lab laboratory implemented a quality system (ISO/CEI 17025: 2005 standard specific to laboratories) in order to support its permanent quality improvement policy.
Since 2010 and the arrival of Maria Ternard in a senior management position, Quad-Lab has accelerated its growth. Between 2010 and 2014, the team size and the number of clients doubled. Since then, the laboratory has been experiencing two-figure turnover growth.
In 2013, Quad-Lab moved to new premises in order to expand its activities. The premises are located in the Léonard de Vinci industrial estate in Lisses, within the boundaries of the Evry Centre Essonne agglomeration.
In 2015, Quad-Lab implemented new specific e-liquid analyses for the e-cigarette market.
In 2016, Quad-Lab acquired a “LIMS”, a fully computerised laboratory management system, making it possible to improve processes and the services provided to clients. It especially provides access to test reports on a secure platform.
In 2023, Quad-Lab created its new standards brand, STANDAIR, to offer customized standards solutions with a wide choice of references in CS2 and Methanol.
