Emissions regulations
Air releases: emissions or channeled emissions can be considered as continuous emissions and connected to a stack for continuous measurement.
In order to comply with the regulations on the emission of specific volatile organic compounds (VOCs), manufacturers must have measurements carried out by competent control bodies.

The Quad-Lab has thus adapted its services in order to best respond to the recommendations of this guide and to support the control bodies in optimizing their sampling.
In the same vein, the Quad-Lab laboratory has developed two turnkey analysis packages that meet the requirements of the ministerial order of 2 February 1998 (Annex III and Annex IV).
This type of measurement gives rise to increasingly complex sampling, which is carried out under often difficult conditions.
This is why the AFNOR published a guide (FD X43-319)in December 2010 with the objective of establishing a balance of techniques used by organizations carrying out controls on channelled gaseous discharges emitted by industrial installations.
Some examples illustrating the variety of our analysis panel:
the aldehydes on 2,4-DNPH
the mercaptans on mercuric acetate bubbling
phenol on XAD 7
Amines on H2SO4 or tubes
hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) on cadmium acetate bubbling
hydrogen (H₂), methane (CH₄), carbon dioxide (CO₂) on aluminium bag or bulb
the search for compounds without a predefined list (screening) for other volatile organic compounds on activated carbon
