Do you know that indoor air is 5 to 10 times more polluted than outdoor air?
We find there:
- VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds)
- Allergens, such as pollen, mites, saliva or excrement components of our animals.
- Fine particles, for example from cooking food, heating appliances, cleaning products, outdoor pollution.
- Mold caused by moisture.
- Combustion gases (such as carbon monoxide)

Health consequences:
Indoor air pollution can cause allergic reactions (rhinitis, conjunctivitis…) or respiratory symptoms (asthma exacerbation…). There may be short-term consequences, such as carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning which in the most severe cases can cause death within a few tens of minutes. In addition, there are long-term repercussions with the onset or worsening of heart and respiratory diseases.
